This holiday home in Edinburgh is a centrally located one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of an architecturally significant building (B-listed). Situated on Forrest Hill off George IV Bridge, close to the historic Royal Mile in the centre of Scotland's beautiful capital city (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the apartment is within easy walking distance of the major tourist attractions, festival venues, shops, nightlife and transport connections. The apartment sleeps two people and can comfortably sleep another 1-2 guests on request on a sofa bed in the living room. Use of electricity, linen and towels are included in the price. The apartment is an ideal base for a short city break in Edinburgh or for a longer holiday if you want to explore further afield.
What's the apartment like?
The living room has a traditional fire place with electric fire and a comfortable dining area for those occasions when you pass up the temptations of Edinburgh’s exciting restaurant scene. The two-seater sofa converts in to a double sofa bed and there is a TV and book case with a wee library of books.
The modern kitchen area is well provided with crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, fridge-freezer, cooker and microwave.
The double bedroom has a wardrobe and chest of drawer.
The bathroom is tiled and has a wash-hand basin, toilet and bathtub with power shower over. You can see the shower reflected in the mirror.
For the comfort of future guests, the apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
