    This holiday home in Edinburgh is a bright centrally located one-bedroom apartment on the third floor of an architecturally significant building (B-listed) with stunning views. Situated off the historic Royal Mile in the centre of Scotland's beautiful capital city (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the apartment is within easy walking distance of the major tourist attractions, festival venues, shops, nightlife and transport connections. The apartment sleeps two people and can comfortably sleep another two guests on request on a sofa bed in the living room. Gas, electricity, local taxes and use of linen and towels are included in the price. The apartment is an ideal base for a short city break in Edinburgh or for a longer holiday if you want to explore further afield.

    What's the apartment like?

    Living room Dining area

    The third-floor apartment is light and airy and has views of Arthur's Seat, the Firth of Forth and Calton Hill. The accommodation comprises a living room with dining area, a kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub and shower over. Unique to this building is the shared roof terrace, which is accessed from the top of the entrance stairway and which has spectacular panoramic views over the city, sea and hills. Where better to enjoy a relaxing drink after a hard day's sightseeing?

    With outlooks to the sea and the hills, the spacious living room is bright and airy. There is a comfortable dining area for those occasions when you forego the attractions of Edinburgh's exciting restaurant scene. The three-seater sofa converts in to a double sofa bed, and there are two armchairs. A TV, a wee library of books and wall-to-wall carpeting complete the home comforts.

    Kitchen

    The modern kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchenware, as well as a washing machine, fridge, freezer, gas hob and microwave oven. Please note that there is not a full size oven, but the microwave has an oven function. There are drying facilities in case you are unlucky enough to get caught in the rain.

    The double bedroom is fully carpeted and attractively furnished.

    Bedroom

    The comfortable bathroom is partly wood panelled and has a wash-hand basin and bathtub with shower over.

    The apartment has gas central heating. The price of gas, electricity and local taxes is included. For the comfort of future guests, the apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.
